Here at Native Riders you won’t find a large selection of pre-designed leather clothing. Now and then we will put overflow pieces from our festival stock, up for sale in the shopping cart section, however the majority of leather pics you see on our website are purely examples of the leather work we do from scratch. To create your
own custom piece with Native Riders, either for yourself or a gift, the process
is as follows:
? We start by speaking with you on our toll free number
listed above and listening to what
your vision is. This is a no pressure call, so don’t feel that by calling you
are committing to anything. We enjoy entertaining your ideas and many times
find that one may call now, but order well into the future. From color and
leather choices to fit preferences and any questions you may have, we discuss
it all. If you are admiring a certain design on this website, let us know. We will
be able to build on incorporating that into your item, while still keeping your
piece 'one of a kind'. Feel free at any time during this process, to fax or
email magazine pictures you find inspirational and anything you think conveys
your style.
? If you decide to proceed further, we will then email or
fax you a sketch of our perceived design and begin communicating with you, to
achieve a finished design. Once you approve of our design we will email/fax you
a contract describing the custom job in detail and how much the job will cost
in full. We will also ask your permission to begin the work via your signature.
We will also include an estimated completion date. Work will actually begin
upon receipt of half the full job cost and any clothing item previously discussed,
as being needed to cut out a more accurate pattern. You can read more about
pattern needs and time frames in our Custom Design link. During this time you
will also want to send us any personal accents or other items (special buttons,
patch etc.) that were discussed as being incorporated into the design.
The other half of the balance will be due upon completion of
the piece. ?We will keep you up to date regarding the progress of your
custom order and call you if we have any questions as your design takes shape.
Feel free of course, to call at anytime as well.
? When your piece is ready we will email you pictures of
your completed item, as well as a request for the balance due. Once we receive
that we will ship out your design. Shipping is on us.
? We do not expect you will have any problems with your
order. However, if there are any unexpected issues with your item and you feel
the need to return it, you will want to follow the instructions found on our
about page under returns.
